They're the official gel of the Boston Marathon, so you know you can trust them to get you through many, many miles. These gels work best when you are properly hydrated, so be sure to drink at least 8 oz. of water with them.
We’ve found flavor preferences vary widely. Mocha, Citrus, Razz and Double Espresso are among our favorites. In terms of caffeinated options, Strawberry and Citrus shots have 25 milligrams of caffeine, Mocha shots have 50 milligrams, and Double Espresso shots have 100 milligrams. We tend to use Strawberry and Citrus most frequently, but when competing, we occasionally reach for the Double Espresso near the end of an event to give us that extra boost.
